Job Description
Side by Side Home Care is a non-medical homemaker and companion care agency serving Orlando and surrounding areas. We are currently hiring dependable caregivers to join our team for upcoming private-pay client cases. We are looking for individuals who are caring, professional, reliable, and comfortable providing non-medical support in a client's home. Responsibilities Caregivers may assist clients with: Companionship and social interaction Safety supervision Meal preparation Light housekeeping Laundry and linen changes Medication reminders Grocery shopping Approved errands Assistance with daily routines and organization Reading, games, activities, and conversation This is a non-medical position. Caregivers will not provide nursing services, medication administration, medical procedures, or client transportation. Schedule Caregivers will be matched with client cases based on availability, location, schedule, and client needs. Some caregivers may not be assigned to a case immediately after onboarding. Once assigned to a client, caregivers will follow the schedule established for that specific case. Pay $17-$19 per hour, depending on experience and assignment. Requirements Current HHA (Home Health Aide) or PCA (Personal Care Assistant) certification Reliable and professional Compassionate and comfortable working independently in clients' homes Good communication skills Dependable attendance Ability to follow client care plans and agency procedures Smartphone access for scheduling, communication, and visit documentation Previous caregiving or home care experience preferred Background Screening Selected applicants must have a current, eligible Florida Level 2 background screening before being assigned to a client. If you already have an active screening in the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse, we may be able to verify and use it. If a new screening is required, the applicant will be responsible for the cost.
