Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support staff for part-time roles within our Total Care program. This position involves providing essential assistance to individuals with diverse needs, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring memory care. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality, respectful care in a home or community setting, supporting residents' independence and well-being. Individual is BEDRIDDEN and needs assistance. Duties Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Feeding, Diaper change, etc is
REQUIRED.
Provide medication administration and monitor vital signs in accordance with care plans Support residents with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts and assistive devices Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and maintaining a safe environment Observe and document patient conditions, reporting any changes to healthcare professionals Implement care plans designed by healthcare teams, ensuring personalized support Offer companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a caring environment Assist with transportation to medical appointments or community activities when necessary Experience Candidates should have relevant experience in home & community care or assisted living environments. Prior work with individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's or dementia care, autism, or hospice care is highly valued. Certifications such as First Aid and CPR are preferred. Experience working with residents in nursing homes or long-term care facilities is advantageous. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations, medication administration, patient monitoring, and the use of mobility aids like Hoyer lifts is essential. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations requiring specialized care. Prior experience in social work or home health services is a plus.

From $16.00 per hour
