Overview Join our dedicated team as a Direct Support Worker and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring personalized care and support. In this vital role, you will provide compassionate assistance to residents with diverse needs, promoting independence, dignity, and well-being. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop your caregiving skills while contributing positively to your community. Responsibilities
AVAILABLE HOURS
2:00PM•8:00PM MONDAY•FRIDAY
AND SATURDAY, SUNDAY 8
00AM•8:00PM. Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting as needed. Support residents with medication administration following prescribed protocols and documentation procedures Provide specialized care for individual that is none verbal but mobile. Be direct but polite when redirecting. Prepare nutritious meals and light cleaning as needed. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks Document care activities accurately by using approved methods. Respond promptly to emergency situations by applying first aid or CPR when needed and following established safety procedures Requirements Prior experience in in-home care setting Knowledge of assisting with ADLs, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring is essential Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities Certification in CPR and First Aid is required Strong communication skills to interact empathetically with residents, families, and team members Valid driver's license for driving duties; clean driving record preferred Demonstrated commitment to providing respectful, person-centered care in a compassionate manner Join us to be part of a supportive environment where your caregiving talents help improve lives every day.
