Direct Care Staff

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Staff to provide essential support and companionship to individuals in need of assistance. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of caregiving principles and a commitment to upholding resident rights while fostering a supportive environment. Duties Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's quality of life. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients. Light housekeeping tasks, such as, laundry, linen cleaning, meal planning, preparation and storing leftovers. Home Safety/fall prevention Uphold resident rights by treating all clients with dignity and respect. Personal Support Qualifications Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. A high school diploma or GED is required. CPR certification is highly preferred. Must possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly with clients and their families.
