Job Description

Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide (HHA) / Companion to provide essential support and care to individuals in their homes environments. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine passion for caregiving and a strong commitment to enhancing clients' quality of life through attentive, personalized care. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those requiring assistance with daily activities, health monitoring, and companionship. Schedule:
Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday — 6 hours per day (18 hours weekly) Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Support medication administration following prescribed guidelines while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality. Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness and promote mental well-being. Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation to maintain a safe and comfortable environment. Support clients with specialized needs, including Alzheimer's care, dementia care, hospice care, catheter care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care plans are followed accurately. Maintain accurate medical documentation and records related to patient care activities for legal compliance and continuity of care. Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly desirable. Familiarity with medication reminder, and medical documentation practices. Demonstrated ability to work compassionately with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges. Long-term care experience that emphasizes patience, reliability, and excellent communication skills. Certification in CPR is required Level 2 screening/ Background check AHCA Requirements for Home Health Aides HHA Certificate or CNA License, at least 1 year of experience in home health, facility-based, or private care setting High school diploma or equivalent Physical not older than 6 months Valid Documents to show proof of work in the United States. Work Liability Insurance (Independent Contractor Requirement) Ability to complete agency-provided training through APD(Agency for Persons with Disabilities) Fluency in English is required to ensure clear communication with clients and the care team. Reliable transportation with proof of insurance, with the ability to drive clients to doctors' appointments and/or run errands as needed. $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
