Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated, experienced and compassionate In-Home Care Companion with extensive experience in providing personalized support to clients in their own homes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in home health care, senior care, demonstrating a genuine commitment to enhancing clients' quality of life! Someone with attention to detail, and pays attention to the small things! MUST be able to meal plan, grocery shop, cook, perform light housekeeping duties, laundry! The position offers consistent six-hour shifts from Monday through Friday, providing an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives through reliable and attentive care.
Responsibilities:
Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders. Monitor patients' vital signs and observe changes in health status to ensure timely intervention. Support clients with mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts and patient transfer methods to promote safety. Offer companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation. Maintain detailed documentation of care provided and communicate effectively with healthcare teams regarding patient progress or concerns. Experience Proven experience working in home health care, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or group homes. Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and hospice support. Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques, vital signs measurement, medication administration, and first aid/CPR certification. Background in geriatrics or long-term care environments with a focus on resident rights and personalized care plans. Ability to communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds while maintaining professionalism and compassion. Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
