We are currently looking for a dedicated and reliable Medication Technician (Med Tech) to join our growing team. As a Med Tech , you play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive safe, accurate, and timely medication assistance while also supporting their daily care needs. This position is perfect for someone who is compassionate, detail-oriented, and thrives in a team environment . Responsibilities Administer medications as directed and in accordance with state guidelines Accurately document medication administration and report any changes or concerns Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed Monitor residents for side effects or changes in condition Follow all community policies, procedures, and compliance standards Work closely with caregivers and leadership to ensure quality care Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home health environments is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of related to senior care, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, hospice support, and memory care. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities requiring specialized caregiving is a plus. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner for accurate medical documentation is desirable. Previous roles involving medication administration, vital signs monitoring, tube feeding management, or catheter care will be advantageous. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical records management ensures compliance and confidentiality. Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments that require acute care skills and compassionate patient engagement across diverse populations.
