Full-Time / Day Shift Position Summary Home of Dreams is seeking compassionate, dependable, and attentive Direct Care Staff to provide supervision, support, and daily care for youth in a structured residential setting. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe environment, supporting daily routines, documenting activities and incidents, and ensuring compliance with Florida DCF standards. Key Responsibilities Provide active supervision and ensure the safety and well-being of residents at all times Conduct routine room checks and facility safety inspections according to supervision plans and program requirements Complete daily logs, documentation, and incident reports accurately and timely Support youth with daily routines, structure, redirection, and life skills development Respond appropriately to emergencies, behavioral incidents, and crisis situations Maintain facility cleanliness, organization, and security standards Assist with meals, transportation, appointments, school transitions, and shift handoffs Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding resident care and safety concerns Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Experience working with youth or in a residential care setting preferred Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills Ability to remain alert, engaged, and responsive throughout the shift Ability to manage stressful situations professionally and calmly Must be dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented Preferred Skills Crisis intervention and de-escalation experience Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices Experience documenting incidents and daily activities Work Environment This position involves working directly with youth in a residential care environment and may require standing, walking, supervising activities, and responding quickly during emergencies.

Pay:

$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
