Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Caregiver to provide dedicated support and assistance to individuals of all ages, including children, adults and persons with disabilities. Responsibilities Provide attentive care to children, adults and individuals with disabilities, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times Assist with daily routines such as meal prep, picking up prescriptions and running errands, medication reminders, light housekeeping, laundry assistance, companionship, respite care, and hygiene maintenance. Engage in age-appropriate activities that promote development, learning, and social skills. Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive behavior and emotional regulation Follow mandated reporting laws by accurately documenting any concerns related to abuse or neglect and reporting them to the appropriate authorities Support education initiatives by teaching basic skills and fostering a nurturing home environment. Administer first aid and CPR when necessary, maintaining readiness for emergencies while adhering to safety protocols Requirements Hold an active certification for Home Health Aide (HHA) or Nursing Assistant (CNA). Certification in CPR and first aid from an accredited organization. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs preferred. Strong understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child safety and abuse prevention. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with families, children, and team members. Ability to manage behavior effectively while demonstrating patience, empathy, and professionalism. Must be able to pass a Level 2 Background check.
