In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive support to clients within their homes, promoting independence, safety, and well-being. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a nurturing environment where clients feel valued and empowered. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with diverse populations, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those in memory care or hospice settings. All roles are paid positions, emphasizing the importance of your contribution to quality home health services. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene. Monitor patients' health status by observing vital signs, mental state, and overall condition; promptly report changes to healthcare professionals. Support medication administration following care plans and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking. Operate patient transfer equipment such as Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques to ensure safe mobility. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks like cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces. Provide companionship and emotional support while respecting residents' rights and promoting dignity in all interactions. Requirements Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred. Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice care, and autism support is advantageous. Ability to accurately observe patients' conditions, monitor vital signs, and assist with patient transfer methods safely. Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training or medication administration are a plus. Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, manual handling, and assist with mobility tasks consistently.
