Job Summary I'm seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Caregiver to provide exceptional in-home support for just one individual requiring assistance with daily activities and personal care. This role offers a unique opportunity to create meaningful connections while ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of those in your care. As a Live-In Caregiver, you will be an integral part of a supportive team, delivering personalized care in a home environment that promotes independence and dignity. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help foster a nurturing atmosphere where clients feel valued and empowered. You will have your own room. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health status by observing vital signs, behavior, and overall condition; promptly report changes to healthcare professionals Administer medications accurately following prescribed care plans while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences, ensuring safety during cooking and meal service Utilize specialized equipment such as Hoyer lift Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment through regular cleaning, laundry, and sanitation tasks Requirements Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings; long-term care experience preferred Strong knowledge of patient observation, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and dementia or Alzheimer's care Certifications in CPR, first aid, HIPAA compliance, and any relevant caregiving credentials are highly desirable Ability to lift heavy objects safely using proper techniques; familiarity with Hoyer lifts or similar assistive devices is a plus Excellent communication skills for working with individuals with disabilities Demonstrated ability to follow detailed care plans while maintaining flexibility to adapt to changing needs Valid driver's license Non smokers a must must be able to pass background check
