Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in their own homes. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients by promoting independence, safety, and well-being. As an In Home Caregiver, you will deliver personalized care tailored to each client's unique needs, ensuring they receive respectful, attentive, and professional support in a comfortable environment. This position is ideal for motivated individuals who thrive on helping others and possess a strong sense of responsibility and empathy. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and observe patients' health status, including vital signs and overall condition, reporting any changes promptly Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking Administer medication as prescribed, ensuring proper documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations Support clients with memory care needs such as Alzheimer's or dementia by implementing care plans and providing engaging activities Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices to ensure safe transfers and mobility support Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry Document care activities accurately while respecting client confidentiality and privacy standards Qualifications Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing home care, or group home settings is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and HIPAA compliance Certifications such as CPR and First Aid are required; additional training in dementia or Alzheimer's care is advantageous Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or other special needs is beneficial Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks when necessary Strong communication skills with the ability to follow detailed care plans and collaborate effectively with families and healthcare professionals Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve clients' quality of life Join our team to provide vital support that empowers individuals to live safely and comfortably at home. Pay:
$16.50 - $17.00 per hour
