Job Description
Provide lots of smiles, laughter, play games, make memories, be a role model for toddler age children. Create individual learning plans. Work with another caregiver to ensure that the children have a clean, safe, and stimulating learning environment. Duties will also include daily computer entries, parent conferences, home visits and developmental assessments. Attend professional meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops to maintain and improve professional competence. Attend to children's basic needs by feeding them, dressing them, changing their diapers or pull-ups and potty training. Applicants are preferred to have had at least 1 years experience, Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, Applicants must hold a valid driver's license, Applicant must possess at least of the following: an infant/ toddler CDA, TCC or AS or BS degree in ECE and A criminal background check will be required prior to being hired. Summary As an Early Head Start Caregiver, you will be instrumental in fostering a nurturing and educational environment for infants and toddlers. Reporting to the Early Childhood Education Coordinator, you will utilize your core skills in classroom management and communication to support children's development. Your premium skills in curriculum development and behavior management will enhance learning experiences, while your relevant skills in childcare and special education will ensure individualized attention. With a focus on early intervention and literacy education, you will contribute to the holistic growth of each child in your care.
