The ideal candidate is dependable, patient, and committed to maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for those in their care. Reliable transportation is required for travel to and from client homes. Key Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility support Provide companionship and emotional support to promote client well‑being Support with meal preparation , feeding assistance, and following dietary guidelines Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry, tidying, and maintaining a clean environment Assist with medication reminders (no medication administration) Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or community activities as needed Monitor and report any changes in client condition to supervisors or family members Maintain professional boundaries , confidentiality, and accurate documentation of care provided Qualifications Previous experience in home care, caregiving, or a related field preferred Demonstrated maturity, professionalism, and strong work ethic Reliable transportation with a valid driver's license Ability to lift, transfer, or assist clients safely Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient demeanor Ability to work independently and follow care plans CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Must pass background check and meet all hiring requirements Personal Attributes Dependable and punctual Respectful, empathetic, and client‑focused Able to maintain calm and professionalism in challenging situations Trustworthy with a high level of integrity
