Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Nanny/Caregiver to provide exceptional care and support for children in a private home setting. This role offers an exciting opportunity to create a nurturing environment where children can thrive, learn, and feel loved. The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and passionate about fostering a safe and engaging atmosphere for children of various ages, between 3-15 years old. Your primary goal will be to ensure the well-being, development, and happiness of the children while assisting with daily routines and household tasks. Duties Provide attentive supervision and care for children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to each child's dietary needs and preferences Engage children in educational activities, playtime, arts and crafts, and developmental exercises to promote learning and creativity Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, nap times, diapering, and potty training Support children's emotional well-being by offering comfort, encouragement, and positive reinforcement Perform light household chores related to childcare such as cleaning up after activities, laundry for children, and maintaining a tidy play area Provide personal transportation assistance for school drop-offs/pickups or extracurricular activities when needed Administer basic first aid or CPR in case of emergencies following proper protocols Work with children who have disabilities or special needs by implementing tailored care plans and therapies as directed by parents or specialists Collaborate with parents to ensure consistency in discipline strategies, routines, and developmental goals Experience Proven nanny or caregiving experience in private homes or daycare settings with children of various ages Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable Hands-on experience caring for infants through preschool-aged children including toddler care. Knowledge of childcare best practices including meal preparation, developmental activities, and safety protocols Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional training in working with children with disabilities is a plus Prior nannying experience with multiple children simultaneously demonstrates strong organizational skills and adaptability Familiarity with residential housekeeping tasks related to childcare environments such as cleaning toys, child-specific laundry, and maintaining a safe home environment if you're passionate about making a positive impact on children's lives!
