Overview Join our compassionate team as an In Home Caregiver and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring personalized care and support. In this vital role, you will provide attentive, respectful, and professional assistance to clients in their own homes or community settings. Your dedication will help promote independence, safety, and well-being for those with diverse needs, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those managing chronic or neurodevelopmental conditions. This paid position offers a rewarding opportunity to foster trust and improve quality of life through dedicated caregiving. Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, medication adherence, and overall condition, ensuring safety at all times Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding as necessary Support clients with mobility using proper patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts or manual handling techniques Administer medications accurately following care plans while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client privacy Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, patient observations, and any changes in condition to inform ongoing care strategies Skills Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, or in senior care environments such as assisted living or nursing homes Strong knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and first aid/CPR certification Familiarity with specialized care such as Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, hospice care, and home health services Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and effectively while assisting with ADLs and patient transfers Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients, families, and healthcare teams to coordinate personalized care plans Experience working within HIPAA guidelines to ensure confidentiality and privacy of sensitive health information Competence in meal preparation, personal transportation assistance, light cleaning duties, and maintaining a safe home environment This role is ideal for dedicated caregivers passionate about providing high-quality home-based support.
