Job Description

Pediatric & Adult Personal Care Assistant (PCA) - Flexible Schedule Job Overview Total Vital Care LLC, a licensed Private Home Care Provider under the Georgia Department of Community Health, is seeking compassionate, dependable, and professional Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our growing team. We provide high-quality home care services to pediatric, adult, elderly, and disabled clients throughout Metro Atlanta and surrounding counties. Our caregivers play a vital role in helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes while receiving personalized support tailored to their individual needs. Service Areas Assignments may be available in: Fulton County DeKalb County Clayton County Cobb County Gwinnett County Henry County Fayette County Douglas County Rockdale County Spalding County Caregivers are generally assigned clients within a reasonable travel distance from their residence. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding Provide companionship and emotional support Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation Prepare light meals and assist with feeding when needed Perform light housekeeping and laundry Accompany clients to appointments or community activities when authorized Observe and report changes in client condition to supervisors Maintain accurate documentation and daily service notes Follow all infection control, privacy, and safety protocols Communicate professionally with clients, families, and agency staff Special Opportunities Pediatric home care assignments Adult and senior care assignments Companion and sitter services Respite care services Weekend and evening shifts available Flexible scheduling options PRN, part-time, and full-time opportunities Requirements Completion of a Georgia-approved PCA training program or equivalent healthcare training Ability to pass competency assessments for assigned tasks Current CPR/BLS Certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross preferred) Negative TB screening within the past 12 months Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to pass required background screening Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, compassionate, and professional demeanor Preferred Qualifications Previous home care experience Experience working with pediatric clients Experience supporting elderly or disabled clients Knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer's care, developmental disabilities, or special needs care CNA certification preferred but not required Why Join Total Vital Care?
