Do you want to make a meaningful impact on your local community? We are a growing home health agency dedicated to providing exceptional, compassionate care to seniors and individuals in need throughout the Macon area. We are seeking a motivated and driven Healthcare Recruiter to lead our recruitment efforts, specifically focusing on sourcing, hiring, and onboarding high-quality Caregivers, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and Home Health Aides (HHAs). The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses excellent communication skills, and is passionate about building a reliable, dedicated workforce that directly impacts patient care.
Responsibilities Full-Cycle Recruitment:
Source, screen, interview, and hire qualified caregivers and CNAs to meet our client staffing needs in Macon and surrounding areas.
Active Sourcing:
Utilize job boards (Indeed, LinkedIn), social media, local community networks, and career fairs to build a continuous pipeline of talent.
Onboarding & Compliance:
Review applicant credentials, conduct background checks, verify references, and guide new hires through the onboarding and orientation process ensuring full state regulatory compliance.
Candidate Engagement:
Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the hiring process, ensuring a positive and professional applicant experience.
Retention Strategies:
Work closely with operations and clinical management to understand staffing gaps and develop proactive strategies to improve caregiver retention.
Qualifications Experience:
Minimum of 1-2 years of recruitment experience (Healthcare, home care, or high-volume staffing agency experience is highly preferred).
Skills:
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and adapt to shifting staffing priorities.
Technical Savvy:
Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), job boards, and social media sourcing.
Bilingual Skills:
Proficiency in Spanish or other languages is a major plus, though not required.
Locality:
Deep familiarity with the Macon, GA job market and community resources is preferred.
