We're looking to add to our team of caregivers and are searching for mature and compassionate individuals to assist seniors in the Eatonton area community. Our team believes that seniors can help each other age with dignity, grace, and respect. One of the most important aspects of our services is providing companionship to those we serve. To do so, we commit to pairing caregivers with care receivers who share similar interests and backgrounds. This ensures a mutually beneficial relationship that helps to encourage a deep and meaningful connection. Seniors Helping Seniors® caregivers also help with daily tasks like light house cleaning, yard work (certain caregivers), medication reminders, and transportation to and from appointments or social events. Additionally, we offer respite care and 24/7 support for those with more advanced needs, such as mobility assistance as well as specialized assistance for individuals with Alzheimer's and Dementia. What do we look for in a caregiver? We don't require our senior caregivers to be of a certain age or possess a particular level of experience, just a passion for helping seniors in the community continue to live independently. We believe that the experience of receiving care from a Seniors Helping Seniors caregiver should be "Like getting a little help from a friend ® ". Our ideal caregivers are those who: Can relate to the aging process, helping those we serve navigate the challenges that growing older can bring Genuinely enjoy helping others Show kindness, compassion and empathy, especially to the needs of the senior community Are willing to share life stories, interests, and hobbies with a senior companion Are highly ethical, dependable and timely Have reliable transportation We also have a need for licensed, experienced caregivers, such as RNs, CNAs, HHA, and LPN/LVNs. Why join Seniors Helping Seniors® in-home care services? We've found that our caregivers benefit just as much as those we serve through their work with Seniors Helping Seniors® in-home services. This position offers a rewarding, purposeful experience and the chance to foster a true friendship with a senior, all while earning extra income. You'll also appreciate a flexible schedule, designed to accommodate your needs, plus paid training. It's important that we get a feel for your background, interests, and hobbies so that we can pair you with a senior who can relate.
