Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Male Caregiver to join our team in. In this vital role, you will provide personalized care and support to residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a positive environment where residents feel valued and cared for. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring assistance with daily activities and specialized care needs. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene Monitor residents' health by observing vital signs, medication administration, and overall condition, ensuring compliance with care plans Support residents with mobility using manual handling techniques and patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, laundry, and organization of resident spaces Document care activities accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations and facility policies Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a warm and engaging atmosphere Requirements Proven experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and hospice care practices Familiarity with patient monitoring tools such as vital signs measurement and medication administration Ability to operate patient transfer equipment including Hoyer lifts and other manual handling devices Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications in healthcare or caregiving are preferred Experience working with individuals with autism, neurodevelopmental disorders, developmental disabilities, or intellectual disabilities support is highly desirable Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration Join us to be part of a dynamic team committed to providing exceptional care.
