In Home Caregiver

Overview A Private In-Home Caregiver that provides compassionate, reliable, and professional assistance to an elderly client within their home. The caregiver will be responsible for supporting daily living activities, personal care, companionship, safety monitoring, medication reminders, meal preparation, transportation assistance, and light household duties while helping maintain the client's dignity, independence, comfort, and quality of life. Primary Responsibilities - Personal Care Assistance Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene Help with toileting and incontinence care if required Assist with mobility, transfers, walking, and fall prevention Support safe use of walkers, wheelchairs, or other mobility devices Companionship & Emotional Support Provide conversation, companionship, and social interaction Encourage participation in hobbies and activities Monitor emotional well-being and signs of confusion, depression, or isolation Daily Living Support Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary Grocery shopping and medication pick-up Light housekeeping including laundry, dishes, organizing, and maintaining a clean environment Assist with scheduling appointments and reminders Medication & Health Monitoring Provide medication reminders as directed Observe and report changes in physical or mental condition Maintain daily care logs and incident reports Communicate concerns promptly to family members or authorized representatives Transportation Assistance Transport client to appointments, errands, social activities, or therapy sessions Maintain safe driving practices and valid insurance if using a personal vehicle Qualifications Previous caregiving, CNA, home health aide, or nursing assistant experience preferred CPR/First Aid certification preferred Ability to pass background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) check Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Compassionate, patient, dependable, and trustworthy Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism Physical Requirements Ability to lift or assist with transfers as needed Ability to stand, bend, walk, and assist clients for extended periods Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations Employer Expectations Maintain professionalism and respect at all times Arrive on time and maintain accurate timesheets Follow all care plans and household policies Report accidents, injuries, medication concerns, or unusual behavior immediately Protect client privacy, finances, and personal property Work Environment Private residence/home setting Flexible scheduling may include days, evenings, weekends, or overnight shifts. Will involve caring for clients with mobility limitations. Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
