Job Description

Job Overview Join our dedicated team as an In Home Caregiver, where your compassionate nature and proactive approach will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve. In this vital role, you will provide personalized in-home care to individuals with diverse needs, promoting independence, safety, and well-being. Your energy and attention to detail will help create a supportive environment that enhances quality of life for seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those recovering from illness or injury. This paid position offers an opportunity to build rewarding relationships while applying your caregiving expertise in a dynamic setting. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by checking vital signs and observing changes in condition; report findings accurately and promptly Administer medications following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure safety and compliance Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal planning and preparation Utilize specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs to ensure safe transfers and mobility support Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks like cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces Support clients' emotional well-being through companionship, engaging activities, and social interaction Skills Proven experience in home & community care or assisted living environments with a focus on senior care or long-term care Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism Certified in First Aid and CPR; familiar with medication administration and vital signs monitoring Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required; experience with resident's (personalized care plans) is a plus Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality at all times Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with families, healthcare professionals, and team members Compassionate attitude combined with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally Join us in providing exceptional home health care that truly makes a difference! Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
