We are hiring a Direct Care Professional (DCP) to work 4:00 PM-12:00 AM in a group home supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. Our residents are sweet, loving, and full of personality , and they are looking for staff who will bring that same kindness, patience, and warmth into their home. Your Role During the evening shift, you will help our residents enjoy a safe, comfortable, and meaningful evening.
Responsibilities include:
Providing compassionate, person-centered care Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other daily activities Preparing and serving meals Supporting medication routines as trained and authorized Helping residents participate in activities and make personal choices Providing companionship and encouragement Assisting with evening routines and bedtime preparations Completing light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable home Completing required documentation Following each individual's ISP and care plan Protecting the dignity, rights, privacy, and safety of every resident We Are Looking for Someone Who Is Kind, patient, and compassionate Dependable and responsible Comfortable working with individuals with developmental disabilities A good communicator and team player Willing to learn and complete required training Respectful of individual choices and differences Someone who genuinely enjoys helping others Experience is a plus, but a caring heart and the right attitude are what matter most.
