Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of home health practices and have experience working with the geriatric community or memory care needs. This role requires a commitment to maintaining resident rights while ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing. Provide meal preparation and ensure nutritional needs are met. Observe and document patient behavior and changes in condition, reporting any concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients, adhering to hygiene standards. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation. Uphold resident rights by treating all individuals with dignity and respect. Requirements Previous experience in home health care or caregiving is preferred. Familiarity with memory care practices is a plus. Understanding of patient observation techniques and documentation protocols. Ability to prepare meals that accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with families and healthcare teams. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life. Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.
