Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide high-quality, personalized care to clients in their private residences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in home health, senior care, and disability support, with a genuine commitment to enhancing clients' independence and well-being. As an In Home Caregiver, you will deliver essential assistance with daily activities, monitor health conditions, and foster a safe, supportive environment that promotes dignity and comfort. Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene. Support clients with mobility using appropriate patient transfer methods and equipment such as Hoyer lifts. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs, including special diets. Conduct patient observation to identify changes in health status or behavior, reporting findings to healthcare professionals as needed. Maintain a clean and safe living environment through regular cleaning and manual handling procedures. Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering positive communication and engagement. Assist with transportation for medical appointments or community activities, ensuring client safety at all times. Skills Proven experience working in home health, senior care, assisted living, or nursing home environments is a plus. Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques, care plans, medication management, and HIPAA compliance. Ability to perform manual handling safely using equipment such as Hoyer lifts and patient transfer methods. Strong skills in assisting with ADLs and providing personal care assistance with compassion and professionalism. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism. Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration. Ability to adapt to diverse client needs within home & community care settings while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Up to $15.20 per hour
