Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to clients within their residences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in home health, senior care, or community support, with a focus on promoting independence, safety, and well-being. As an In Home Caregiver, you will deliver personalized care tailored to each individual's needs, ensuring comfort and dignity while fostering a trusting relationship with clients. These positions are available Sunday- Saturday. We are looking for someone to do a minimum of a 5 day stretch. Pick your days, we are flexible! Mornings preferred. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility support. Monitor and observe patients' health status, reporting any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals promptly. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning in accordance with dietary restrictions and care plans. Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and maintain detailed documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide light housekeeping including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment for clients. Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation. Assist with transportation for medical appointments, errands, or community activities as needed. Follow all safety protocols including first aid, CPR certification, and manual handling procedures to ensure client safety at all times. Experience Prior experience working in home health care, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or hospice care settings is a plus, but not required. Knowledge of care plans development and medication administration procedures. Hands-on experience performing patient personal care assistance. Experience working with seniors or in geriatrics environments emphasizing compassionate caregiving. Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams while maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines. Strong background in manual handling, heavy lifting, and assisting with ADLs in various home settings. From $15.20 per hour
