Job Description

Overview Join our dedicated team as an In Home Caregiver and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals needing compassionate, personalized care. In this vital role, you will provide essential support to clients in their homes, promoting independence, safety, and well-being. Your energy and empathy will help create a nurturing environment where clients feel valued and cared for every day. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to deliver high-quality care while developing strong relationships with those you serve. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences Administer medications accurately following prescribed care plans and HIPAA regulations Support patients with memory care needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's care, ensuring safety and comfort Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident's to facilitate safe transfers and mobility Perform light housekeeping tasks like cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a tidy living environment Observe patient conditions closely, noting changes or concerns for timely communication with healthcare teams Follow all safety protocols including CPR and first aid procedures to respond effectively in emergencies Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop or update personalized care plans for each client Qualifications Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing home, or group home settings preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques and medication administration protocols Certification in CPR and First Aid required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are a plus Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia, or hospice needs highly desirable Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks associated with caregiving responsibilities Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare providers Compassionate attitude with a commitment to providing respectful and dignified care Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred for travel between client homes Join us in delivering exceptional home care that empowers individuals to live comfortably and confidently.
