What You'll Do
Light housekeeping including dishes, laundry, sheets, and tidying up.
Meal preparation for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Grocery shopping and errands.
Companionship through conversation, walks, games, and family connections.
Assistance with daily routines such as dressing, mobility, and appointments.
Observing changes and communicating concerns to your Supervisor. You're not a nurse—and you're not expected to be one. You're the person who notices Mrs. R didn't finish her breakfast three days in a row, and we take it from there. Who You Are
You enjoy working with older adults and value their stories, humor, and life experiences.
You show up when you say you will.
You pay attention to details.
You can comfortably lift up to 25 pounds.
You are at least 18 years old.
You have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
You can pass an Illinois Healthcare Worker Background Check.
Nice to Have (Not Required)
CNA, HHA, or other caregiving experience.
Dementia or memory care experience.
Your First 30 Days
Orientation and Illinois-required training (fully paid).
Shadow shifts with an experienced caregiver.
Independent shifts with Supervisor support.
Regular check-ins to ensure the role is a good fit for everyone.
