  • Part-time, Full-time Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawn Care Specialist to join our team.
This position is ideal for individuals who have a passion for landscaping and outdoor maintenance. The Lawn Care Specialist will be responsible for various tasks related to lawn care, landscape maintenance, and horticulture, ensuring that our clients' properties are well-maintained and visually appealing. The role requires a combination of mechanical knowledge, hands-on skills with tools, and a commitment to providing high-quality service. Responsibilities Perform routine lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, and trimming to maintain healthy and attractive lawns. Execute landscape maintenance activities such as planting, mulching, and weeding to enhance the aesthetic appeal of properties. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks. Utilize excavators and other machinery for larger projects including tree care, hardscape installation, and snow plowing during winter months. Conduct irrigation system maintenance to ensure efficient water usage for lawns and gardens. Provide tree trimming services to promote healthy growth and maintain safety around properties. Assist in gardening activities including planting flowers, shrubs, and trees while applying horticultural best practices. Collaborate with team members on construction projects related to landscape design and implementation. Maintain equipment in good working condition through regular cleaning and minor repairs. Requirements Proven experience in lawn care or landscape maintenance is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as excavators. Familiarity with horticulture principles and practices is a plus. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Knowledge of irrigation systems and their maintenance is desirable. Experience in snow plowing or winter landscaping services is an advantage. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
