Job Description

Job Overview Join our compassionate team as a Caregiver/Care Partner, where your dedication and empathy will make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities. In this vital role, you will provide personalized assistance with daily activities, promote independence, and ensure a safe, comfortable environment. Responsibilities Client:
Male Schedule:
Hourly | Mon, Wed, Fri | 8:30am - 12:30pm)
Preferred Carer:
Female/Male Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health and safety Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols Support residents with memory care needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care strategies Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and assist with feeding when necessary Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning resident areas and laundry Document care activities accurately using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and report any changes in resident condition to supervisors Support residents' emotional well-being through social engagement, activity participation, and compassionate communication Requirements Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care settings is highly preferred Knowledge of first aid procedures and CPR certification is advantageous Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral management needs is a plus Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments such as retirement homes or group homes Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare professionals Valid driver's license for transportation duties if required for home visits or community outings Physical ability to lift residents using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation purposes This role is ideal for caring individuals eager to provide meaningful support while growing their skills in senior care, memory care, or long-term care environments.
