Responsibilities Supervise and ensure the safety of children during daily activities, playtime, meals, and rest periods Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills for toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children Provide attentive infant care, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed Administer basic first aid and CPR in emergency situations following mandated reporting laws and safety protocols Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, behavior, and daily activities Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet their individual needs and fostering inclusive participation Manage behavior using positive reinforcement techniques while maintaining a calm, patient demeanor Experience Prior experience working with children across various age groups including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children Demonstrated experience in childcare settings such as daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, or nannying roles Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Familiarity with behavior management strategies suitable for young children Experience planning engaging activities that support learning and development in youth programs or classroom environments Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in childhood development or special needs care is a plus Understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Join us to make a positive difference every day!
