Caregiver - Visiting Angels Visiting Angels is actively building our caregiver team to support current and upcoming in-home care needs throughout McHenry County, Illinois. We have ongoing opportunities for compassionate, dependable caregivers who want to make a meaningful difference for older adults and adults with disabilities in their homes. Available assignments may vary by client location, schedule, care needs, and caregiver experience. Qualified applicants will be considered for current openings and contacted as compatible client schedules become available. As a Caregiver / Home Care Aide, you may provide: Companionship, conversation, and emotional support Assistance with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility Meal planning and preparation Light housekeeping and laundry Medication reminders Errands, grocery shopping, and transportation, when applicable Dementia and Alzheimer's care support Reliable documentation and communication with the office team

Qualifications:

Compassionate, patient, and dependable approach to client care Ability to work independently in clients' homes Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Ability to pass required background checks and meet agency hiring requirements Previous caregiving, CNA, home care, senior care, or personal-care experience preferred; training may be available for qualified applicants We are interested in all availability: days/evenings/overnights/weekends, depending on client needs Why work with Visiting Angels?
