In Home Caregiver

Visiting Angels of Dekalb has been providing dependable in-home senior care in the community for 17 years. We focus on giving seniors the support they need to live out their golden years in the home they've known and loved. Join our team of Caregivers that provide the one-on-one, personalized care they deserve. You will be an important part of our mission to deliver excellent and purposeful care for our clients while feeling fulfilled doing meaningful work everyday.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one companionship and assistance with daily living activities. Assist clients with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and personal hygiene including bathing, dressing and more. Engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities to uplift their spirits. Record and report any changes in the client's condition. Collaborate with office staff to provide comprehensive support and care.

Qualifications:

Compassionate and dedicated to improving the lives of seniors. Strong communication skills. Ability to connect with seniors and their families with empathy and respect. Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of integrity with an ability to work independently. Prior experience in caregiving or a related field is beneficial but not required. All Visiting Angels Caregivers must have an insured, reliable vehicle and current drivers license.

Pay:

$16.50 - $17.50 per hour
