A Caregiver or Personal Care Aide provides non-medical care for adults, including elderly and disabled people, typically in their own homes. Assists clients with daily tasks including bathing, medication reminders, and light housekeeping; may also provide transportation for appointments and errands. These roles do not always require formal certification.

About Our Client:
Needs a daily caregiver Monday through Friday (perhaps some weekends, but starting M-F) from 8 or 8:30 am to 8 p.m. (shift times have some flexibility). She is a former nurse at the early stages of dementia, diabetes, and hypertension. She requires light meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, and assistance with bathing/toileting. No Hoyer or ostomy care. She lives with her daughter and son-in-law. They have 3 young children, one of whom has autism. The husband works from home in a basement office, and the kids are often present during the summer, but not always. Their mom works outside the home every weekday.

Hoyer Lift, Gait Belt, incontinence care, transfers, Ambulation, meal prep, light housekeeping, and companionship. Work is as requested (PRN). We will reach out during your availability for up to 40 hours a week. Weekend on call opportunities, 90 day reviews and evaluation for Top Tier Status. Reliable transportation and a committed work ethic/attendance are preferred. Must be registered with the IDPH and compliant in all IDPH coursework, completing 10 hours annually. Transcripts from this current year are accepted. Paid training is offered if needed.
