Job Summary FirstLight Home Care is seeking 2 caregivers with advanced caregiving experience for a male client in Huntley from 10am-8pm . The family prefers female caregivers. However there are shift opportunities for male caregivers on other clients. Must be available for at least 3 weekdays and every other weekend. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in senior care, including assisting with activities of daily living and managing complex health needs. As a vital member of our caregiving team, you will deliver personalized assistance that promotes comfort, dignity, and independence for clients with limited mobility. Duties Provide personal care, including assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility support. Support clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including feeding, changing incontinence products bedbound, and repositioning to prevent bedsores. Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation Observe and report any changes in the client's condition or behavior Skills Strong caregiving skills with the ability to assist with ADLs and provide compassionate support for individuals with dementia , including the ability to assist with transferring a client. Excellent communication skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions Able to navigate electronics to clock in and out, view schedule, record shift activities and complete online training Driver's license and insured, reliable transportation Join our dedicated team of caregivers committed to delivering high-quality home care that makes a meaningful difference in clients' lives!
