Daytime Caregiver Cheery Moments Homecare Services, LLC Joliet, IL Job Details Part-time | Full-time $20 - $25 an hour 3 days ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications CPR Certification First aid Assisting with ADLs First Aid Certification Tagalog Cleaning Patient interaction Full Job Description Overview We are actively recruiting female come-and-go (hourly) Caregivers to work Daytime shifts on Mondays through Sundays (2-3 days per week) from 8am to 2 pm, at a client's private residence in Joliet, IL, to assist with daily living activities, ambulation, fall prevention/stand-by assist, and companionship. Further details will be given upon request. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), which may include showers, dressing, grooming, toileting, and ambulation (wheelchair/walker). Monitor clients' health by observing vital signs, patient condition, and behavioral changes; report these findings to your supervisor. Maintain the cleanliness of clients' living areas by performing light housekeeping and laundry. Provide medication reminders only. Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship to promote mental and emotional well-being. Transportation (outside appointments) Provide adequate personal care, prevent falls and injuries, maintain skin integrity, and provide friendly assurance. Fill out and submit the appropriate forms/records needed to keep track of your clients' care and progress. Provide updates with the supervisor regarding the client's care. Requirements Valid form of identification (state ID/driver's license, passport, etc.) Experience within the field is preferred Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred; additional certifications such as HIPAA training or dementia/Alzheimer's care are a plus Compassionate attitude combined with excellent communication skills to build trust and rapport with residents and team members Must apply in person at the Bloomingdale office, and must pass a background check.
