caregiver needed in libertyville The Beginning Home Care Agency Libertyville, IL Job Details Part-time From $18.50 an hour 20 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications CPR Certification Assisting with ADLs Bathing assistance Meal assistance Patient observation Full Job Description We are seeking a compassionate, dependable caregiver to provide one-on-one support to a senior resident in an independent living facility. 8.45 am to 12.45 pm 7 days or for atleast 5 days a week.
Responsibilities Include:
Assisting with activities of daily living, including dressing, grooming, and shower supervision (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays). Providing reminders and assistance with hearing aids and daily vitamins. Escorting the client to facility activities, exercise classes, and lunch Assisting with mobility and ensuring safe ambulation using a walker. Preparing and serving breakfast in the client's room. Monitoring food intake and reporting any refusals to eat, shower, or participate in care. Performing light housekeeping tasks, including laundry as needed and daily bathroom sanitation. Maintaining daily communication with family members through care reports.
Requirements:
Must avoid wearing perfumes, fragrances, or scented products due to client allergies. Strong communication and observation skills. Experience working with seniors preferred.
Pay:
From $18.50 per hour
