Position Summary Reliable Home Care Providers, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and dependable Caregiver to provide in-home care for an elderly female client in Mundelein, Illinois . The ideal candidate is patient, reliable, and experienced with personal care and safe transfers. The client is nonverbal and communicates using an iPad communication app. Benefits We offer a competitive benefits package, including: 100% employer-paid major medical insurance (for employees working 20+ hours per week) Dental insurance Vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan Paid time off Paid sick leave Bi-weekly pay Schedule Part-time 2-3 days per week 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM 10-15 hours per week Responsibilities Assist with transfers from bed to wheelchair/chair. Assist with toileting and hygiene. Prepare and assist with feeding lunch. Accompany the client outdoors and push the wheelchair for short walks around the neighborhood. Perform light housekeeping, including: Laundry Cleaning the bathroom after use, as needed Cleaning the kitchen after meals, as needed Provide companionship and respectful, attentive care. Observe and report any changes in the client's condition to the supervisor.
Requirements:
Authorized to work in the United States. Previous caregiving experience, especially with Parkinson's disease, ALS, or mobility assistance, required. Experience with safe transfers and personal care. Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional. Fluent in English. Ability to lift and safely assist a client weighing approximately 90 lbs . Reliable transportation.
