Role Overview:
As a Caregiver at Home Helpers, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care and support to clients in their homes. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with healthcare professionals and family members to create a nurturing environment that promotes independence and well-being for our clients. Whether you work full-time or part-time, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Assist clients with daily living activities to promote independence. Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance client well-being. Help with household tasks such as meal preparation, light cleaning, and laundry. Document and report any changes in the client's condition to provide continuous care.
Qualifications:
You're a great fit if you have the following skills. Compassionate and empathetic demeanor towards clients. Strong communication skills, particularly in English. Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting. Experience in caregiving or a related field is required. Flexible schedule to accommodate client needs, including availability on weekends.
Bonus If You:
Have CPR and First Aid certification. Possess specialized training in dementia or Alzheimer's care.
