About This Opportunity This client requires direct assistance with daily routines, mobility support, personal care, positioning, and transfers throughout the day. What We're Looking For The ideal caregiver will be: Dependable and punctual Confident working independently Compassionate and patient Strong communicator and team player Comfortable providing hands-on personal care assistance Physically capable of assisting with mobility support and transfers within agency guidelines Comfortable learning and safely utilizing transfer equipment, including a Hoyer lift Detail-oriented and attentive to client comfort and positioning needs Reassuring and confident when supporting clients with anxiety or concerns regarding their care Willing to complete all client-specific training provided by Home Instead Available for morning shifts Responsibilities Responsibilities may include: Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) Personal care and hygiene assistance Dressing and grooming assistance Mobility and transfer assistance utilizing approved equipment Positioning and comfort support Meal preparation and feeding assistance as needed Medication reminders Light housekeeping and laundry Companionship and emotional support Monitoring and reporting changes or concerns according to agency procedures Following individualized care plans and training protocols Minimum Qualifications At least 18 years old Minimum one year of caregiving experience (professional or personal) Valid driver's license Reliable vehicle with proof of insurance Ability to pass a criminal background check Ability to pass a motor vehicle record check Ability to lift, push, pull, bend, and assist with transfers as required Strong attendance and reliability record Ability to work independently and follow care plans Reside within 25 miles of Quincy, IL Why Join Home Instead?
