In Home Caregiver Tinley Park, IL 60477 $18.75 - $20.00 an hour - Part-time, Full-time $18.75 - $20.00 an hour - Part-time, Full-time Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in various medical settings and a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, ensuring safety, and promoting independence for those in need of care. Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients. Help with meal preparation and nutritional needs. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor health conditions. Assist with mobility and transportation to appointments or activities. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients. Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to family members or healthcare professionals. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed. Requirements Previous experience in caregiving or relevant healthcare settings is preferred, including Level II trauma center experience, hospital medicine, emergency medicine, and geriatrics. Familiarity with medical-surgical practices, inpatient care, outpatient services, and sub-acute care is beneficial. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. A compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care. Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet client needs.
