Administrative support so you're never alone in the field. Job Summary We are seeking dependable, adaptable, and compassionate PRN Personal Care Aides to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a crucial lifeline for our clients by stepping in to cover open shifts, emergency call-offs, and new client openings. If you are a reliable self-starter who thrives on flexibility and takes pride in showing up when clients need you most, this position is a great fit. You will make a direct impact on the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities by helping them maintain their independence and dignity at home.
Responsibilities Shift Coverage:
Promptly respond to shift call-outs, open schedules, and emergency coverage requests.
Personal Care:
Assist clients with personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, and dressing.
Mobility Support:
Help clients with walking and light physical movement routines.
Daily Living Support:
Prepare nutritious meals, complete light housekeeping, and assist with errands or grocery shopping.
Medication Reminders:
Ensure clients take their prescribed self-administered medications on schedule.
Companionship:
Provide engaging, respectful, and compassionate continuous care during scheduled hours.
Communication:
Maintain clear, prompt communication with the administrative team regarding attendance and client care updates.
Qualifications High Reliability & Responsiveness:
Strong commitment to showing up on time for accepted shifts and maintaining active communication with dispatch/admin.
Transportation:
Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and active auto insurance.
Experience:
Previous caregiving or Home Health Aide (HHA) preferred, but a strong work ethic and compassionate attitude are required.
Physical Capability:
Ability to assist with physical transfers and lift up to 25-50 lbs as needed.
Skills:
Solid basic housekeeping and meal preparation skills.
Professionalism:
Excellent interpersonal communication, strong ethical standards, and full adherence to health and safety guidelines.
