Job Description
Family Home Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and energetic caregiver to assist Miss Dixie in her home setting. Miss Dixie is a pleasant and social woman who is excited to begin services and is looking for someone who brings positivity, patience, professionalism, and motivation into her daily routine. The ideal caregiver will be self-motivated, prompt, trustworthy, and able to provide both attendant care and homemaker assistance while encouraging independence, dignity, and comfort within the home. Responsibilities Attendant Care Duties Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) Provide mobility and transfer assistance as needed Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene Medication reminders Monitor client safety and overall well-being Provide companionship and emotional support Encourage independence while offering appropriate assistance Homemaker Duties Light housekeeping and maintaining a clean environment Meal preparation and kitchen clean-up Laundry and linen changes Assistance organizing household items Grocery assistance or household errands if authorized Ensure home remains safe and comfortable for the client Ideal Candidate Qualities We are seeking someone who is: Positive and uplifting Energetic and compassionate Self-motivated and dependable Prompt and reliable with attendance Respectful and professional Patient and understanding Comfortable working independently in a home environment Strong in communication and documentation Requirements Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Ability to pass required background checks Ability to follow care plans and company policies Prior caregiving or home care experience preferred but not required Must maintain professionalism and client confidentiality at all time Schedule Approximately 35 hours weekly Flexible scheduling may be discussed based on client needs Our Mission At Family Home Care, we are committed to providing compassionate, respectful, and high-quality care that allows individuals to remain safe and comfortable in their homes while maintaining dignity and independence.
