This role offers the opportunity to provide personalized, high-quality care to individuals in their homes or community settings. As a Caregiver with your own clients, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those you serve by delivering attentive, respectful, and professional support. Your expertise in various aspects of patient care and familiarity with diverse care environments will ensure that each individual's unique needs are met with kindness and competence. Duties Provide personalized care to your existing clients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being at all times Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' vital signs and observe for any changes in health status or behavior Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences Administer medications accurately following prescribed care plans and HIPAA confidentiality standards Utilize specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices to support mobility and prevent injury Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, patient observations, and any incidents or concerns Support clients with memory care needs related to Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or other cognitive impairments Engage in light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment Collaborate with healthcare professionals to update and follow personalized care plans Ensure compliance with all safety protocols including CPR and first aid procedures Requirements Proven experience as a caregiver with an existing client base; home & community care experience preferred Knowledge of assisted living, nursing home procedures, hospice care, and long-term care practices Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or dementia-related conditions Certification in CPR and first aid; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when necessary for patient transfers or mobility assistance Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and reporting changes in condition Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to meet client locations consistently Compassionate attitude combined with professionalism and respect for client dignity Join us if you're passionate about making a meaningful difference through personalized caregiving!
