URGENT JOB OPENING
In Home Caregiver Indianapolis, IN 46234!!!!! A Caring Hand Home Care LLC ! We are seeking a caregiver for an immediate opening! This is one client, with 18 hours a week. Client has specific requests due to medical status. Upon applying please inquire for specific requirements. Must be Non smoking, must have transportation for running errands and no allergies to animals!!! This vital role involves delivering personalized care that promotes independence, safety, and well-being. As an In Home Caregiver, you will play a key part in enhancing the quality of life for clients by offering attentive, respectful, and professional care tailored to their unique needs. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while working in a rewarding and dynamic environment. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health status by observing vital signs, patient behavior, and overall condition; report any concerns promptly Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet dietary requirements Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, patient observations, and any changes in condition Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation Follow all safety protocols including CPR, First Aid, and hospice or dementia-specific care procedures Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and social workers to develop and implement personalized care plans Requirements Proven experience in home & community care or assisted living environments; group home experience is a plus Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring Certification in CPR and First Aid required; additional certifications like HIPAA compliance preferred Ability to lift heavy objects safely and assist with mobility using appropriate equipment such as Hoyer lifts or transfer devices Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams Compassionate attitude with a commitment to providing respectful and dignified care Valid driver's license preferred for travel between client locations; reliable transportation required Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed Join us as an In Home Caregiver if you're passionate about making a positive impact through dedicated caregiving.
