Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. This position requires a commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively with individuals of varying needs, including those with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's, dementia, and other health conditions. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide personal care including patient monitoring and vital signs assessment. Prepare meals and assist with meal planning and cooking according to dietary needs. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients through regular cleaning and organization of living spaces. Support clients in social activities and community engagement to promote mental well-being. Medication reminders as per care plans while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts for transferring clients safely when needed. Document patient observations and report any changes in condition or behavior to healthcare professionals. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs. Experience Ideal candidates will possess experience in caregiving roles such as: Assisted living or senior care environments. Home health or hospice care settings. Group home experience or working with individuals with disabilities, including autism. Knowledge of first aid and CPR is preferred to ensure client safety. Familiarity with memory care techniques and direct support services is beneficial. Experience in nursing homes or long-term care facilities is an asset.
