Job Summary :
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care services. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Responsibilities :
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
  • Accompany clients to appointments and outings
  • Document client care activities and report any changes in condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals
Requirements :
  • Previous experience in patient care or senior care is preferred
  • Knowledge of medication administration systems and procedures
  • Familiarity with working with people with developmental disabilities is a plus
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining client confidentiality
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects or individuals as needed
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
