Full Job Description Overnight Direct Care Staff Life Connections Youth Residential Homes Wichita, KS Pay:

$13.00 per hour

Sign-On Bonus:

$500 after 90 days

Schedule Overnight Shift:

7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Friday Every other week Position Overview Life Connections Youth Residential Homes is seeking compassionate, dependable, and self-motivated staff to provide care and supervision for teenage girls in a residential group home setting. Many of the youth we serve identify as members of the LGBTQ+ community. We are seeking individuals who can provide a safe, supportive, respectful, and affirming environment while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries and following all agency policies and procedures. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about mentoring youth, supporting emotional well-being, and helping young people achieve success. Essential Responsibilities Provide supervision and support for teenage girls in residential care Maintain a safe and structured environment Document daily activities and incidents Assist with conflict resolution and behavioral support Transport youth to appointments and activities when needed Communicate effectively with management, caseworkers, and treatment teams Conduct routine safety checks throughout the shift Support independent living and life-skills development Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Experience working with youth, behavioral health, social services, childcare, education, or residential care preferred Must be at least 18 years old Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to work independently during overnight hours Employment Requirements Must successfully pass a criminal background check Must complete DCF fingerprinting requirements Must pass all required pre-employment screenings Must be eligible to work in the United States Benefits $500 Sign-On Bonus after 90 days Meaningful work that impacts the lives of youth Supportive team environment Opportunity for growth within the organization
