Job Description:
Duties and Responsibilities:
Training & Professional RequirementsComplete DBHDID-approved CSA training within the first 6 months of employment (unless completed prior to hire) and maintain proof of certification.

Complete annual training totaling at least 6 CEUs covering recovery and resilience, psychiatric rehabilitation, communication skills, diagnosis and medication management, and crisis coping skills.

Complete required annual trainings, including HIPAA and Medicaid Fraud, Waste, and Abuse.

Follow all applicable laws and regulations related to licensure and licensure renewal, if applicable.

Supervision & MeetingsAttend in-person supervision at least once every two weeks for a minimum of 30 minutes; supervision must be documented.

Attend all required staff, supervision, and company-wide meetings.

Participate in quarterly team meetings to review care plans, progress, and goals.

Service Delivery & Client CareProvide services outlined in the clients individualized plan of care.

Assist in developing and updating client service care plans with required signatures.

Deliver services primarily in the home and community; services may also occur in the office, school, or via telehealth when permitted by Kentucky regulations.

Complete prior authorization requests when required to ensure services are billable.

Communicate and collaborate regularly with the clients treatment team, ensuring Releases of Information are on file and confidentiality is maintained at all times.

Documentation & CommunicationComplete session documentation within 48 hours (best practice: within 24 hours when not using collaborative documentation).Submit daily timesheets accurately reflecting services provided.

Communicate consistently and respond promptly to email, Google Chat, and other internal messages.

Professional Conduct & ExpectationsPerform all services ethically and in compliance with company policies and procedures.

Be reliable, punctual, and professional in the office, community, and online.

Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, staff, and colleagues.

Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements at all times.

Demonstrate a growth mindset and commitment to professional development.

Additional ResponsibilitiesMay assist with creating blog content, psychoeducational materials, worksheets, or other creative projects.

May participate in community outreach events hosted or supported by Alliance.

Maintain valid vehicle insurance; reliable transportation to clients is required.

Mileage is not reimbursed.

Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Documentation Requirements:
All notes must be documented within 48-hours, with 24-hours being best practice. Notes must reflect the specific intervention worked on from the treatment plan along with the client response to the intervention.
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older.

High school diploma or GED required.

Minimum of one year of full-time experience working with individuals receiving treatment for a mental health or co-occurring disorder.

Valid drivers license, current auto insurance, and a clean driving record required.
