Job Description

Role Overview:
As a Personal Caregiver at Homewatch CareGivers of Louisville, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional one-on-one care for adult clients in their homes. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with your team to ensure each client receives personalized support to meet their individual needs. You will make many positive impacts in the life of each client.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide compassionate personal care/assistance to clients, tailored to their specific needs with safety in mind. Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation. Ensure clients receive medication reminders and other non-medical health-related support. Transport clients to/from appointments or social activities and/or run errands as necessary. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, performing light housekeeping and laundry tasks.
Qualifications:
You're a great fit if you have the following skills. A valid driver's license and reliable, insured vehicle. A clean background check Be able to lift at least 40 lbs. Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving. Flexibility to accommodate clients' care schedule needs. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written in English.
Excellent If You:
Have previous experience working as a caregiver for adults, CNA, DSP, SRNA or PCA. Possess specialized training in areas such as dementia care or stroke recovery. Can provide references that speak to your caregiving skills.
Employment Type & Availability:
This PRN position requires full time or part time availability Monday through Friday and/or weekends. Some clients request evening or overnight hours as needed.
Location:
This position is on-site only at individual adult client's homes in Louisville, Kentucky area, specifically Jefferson and Oldham counties.
